Great School! My daughter loves it. This is her first year and we have had nothing but positive experiences.

My elder daughter is going to this school. It is a good school to start with. I wish it is more diversified.

The overall atmosphere at this school is not the slightest bit conducive to helping the students learn. Children who often do not follow the school rules and sometimes engage in dangerous behavior are sent to the office and rewarded with snacks and coloring books. They look forward to going to the office and will sometimes ask to go there and will act out even more if the teacher tries to keep them in the classroom. The students who do exhibit correct behaviors are now realizing that the other students are being rewarded by the administration for negative behaviors and are now acting out in an attempt to receive treats and attention that the other students have been getting.

Due to corporate relocation, we moved to MO. We came from a state where students consistently excelled academically and go off to Ivy League universities. The elementary school was outstanding where the principal leadership was commendable, the teachers were experienced and pleasant to work with, and practically every parent was involved in some way (no matter how small). Duello is the complete opposite - Parent involvement is lacking probably because of the low level of college-educated parents or perhaps graduating from high school is all that is expected, more experienced teachers are needed and principal leadership needs to be improved. Look at the test scores, speak to your child s teacher and go to school events and you will see for yourself. I am happy I made the switch for my child; it s been one week at the new school and we are very pleased with our decision. There are better elementary schools in the district that your child(ren) can attend, do your research and you will see.

This is not my favorite school in the district. Activities this site claims Duello has ...... they do not. I have only come across 3 teachers that I like and that really appear to care. This is the third year my children have attended and I can not wait til they are both in middle school. Hopefully we will have better luck there.

My son has attended Duello since it opened for 2007-2008. I have seen many changes since due to parents input. To have a great school everyone needs to be involved. The teachers are great, very responsive and positive.

I have two children attending Duello Elementary. This is our first year at Duello following a move from out-of-state. When we moved, I was concerned about the transition for my children. Both of my children love Duello and are very happy. I am impressed with the quality of the teaching, specifically in communication arts and math. Both children have really progressed in math, reading and writing. The teachers have been terrific. They work hard to communicate with parents and make the children feel special. We have found the principal and administrative intern very supportive and approachable. We are very happy here.

Even though the school is new, they are teaching our kids just as they are in the other schools, programs are being put in place, PTA is doing their best and the school is getting its wings. There are a lot of great teachers and other staff members that give 110%. Give it time, they are trying. It is only 2 years old.

My son has gone there since it opened. I was nervous at first, probably due to the change. I've come to respect the educators. These teachers are truly excellent. Every teacher (that my son has had) has seeming taken a personal interest in his education and progress. I feel we have been treated fairly by the administration and I would recommend this school to any parent. I did not feel that way at the Wentzville counterpart. Though they weren't 'bad', I simply feel it's better at Duello.

My child attended Duello School in 2007-08, the first year it was open. This school was a mess! The principal did not want to deal with problems, the teachers were young, inexperienced, and in great need of guidance. If your child is having problems at this school - request a transfer to a good school like Green Tree, Boone Trail or Crossroads. Wentzville SD will transfer kids to other schools if you can provide for their transportation. I know someone that did, and I wish I had.

My daughter has gone to Duello since it opened. Her dad & I share joint custody of her-and the staff @ Duello have been very accommodating to let me be a part of her school life! Our daughter has learned so much more than I thought she would at her age.
